As the Windows & Azure Engineering Director you will be a key player in the Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering team managing the systems administration of Azure Cloud environment and Windows platform used for running highly intense applications. This role requires a seasoned engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and administer Windows Servers in the cloud environment.
• Develop solutions in Windows & Azure Cloud tailored to application team requirements.
• Build infrastructure components in Azure Cloud for applications.
• Plan and execute periodic patching and security updates for Windows Servers.
• Collaborate with Corporate Engineering on periodic updates to Windows images.
• Coordinate with Corporate AD and IAM teams to manage AD groups.
• Automate Windows-related tasks using PowerShell, Ansible, etc.
• Work with the Corporate Workspace team to troubleshoot and resolve VDI & Citrix-related issues.
• Partner with the Corporate EUC team on provisioning new VDIs, laptops, and PDAs.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving VDI, laptop, and PDA issues.
• Plan and execute Windows version upgrades.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Messaging team on Office 365 issues and solutions.
• Manage Windows file servers and NAS shares.
• Develop cloud-native tools for file sharing.
• Perform NAS migrations.

Experience Required:

• Extensive experience in Windows Administration & End User Computing.
• Proficient in administering Windows Server 2019 and later versions.
• Skilled in working with Citrix Cloud VDIs and applications.
• Experienced with Azure Cloud and AWS.
• Expertise in managing Azure AD, Office 365, and Active Directory.
• Competent in managing file servers.
• Skilled in writing PowerShell scripts and Ansible playbooks.

This position can be based in the US or Canada and is fully remote, although you should be already in either location as well as being fully eligible to work without sponsor. The position will pay up to $220k + bonus + benefits depending on location and experience
