Senior Sales Engineer

As our lead Senior Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for working hand in hand with the sales, engineering, service, and product teams to deliver full support and oversight around the sales and delivery process. 


Responsibilities:


  • Work with the sales team on all strategic opportunities
  • Help run sales pitches and work with the various stakeholders across the technology and delivery teams to ensure a smooth process
  • Build relationships with end clients and prospects, translate their business requirements into practical solutions, and drive the growth of the MSP and Cybersecurity businesses through client account focus, sales enablement and service differentiation.

  • Proven track record of effectively presenting to and interacting with senior executive leaders and technology professionals
  • Poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations.
  • Must be a critical thinker, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Expertise in several of the following areas: information security management, vulnerability & threat management, identity and access management, privacy and data protection, application, server & cloud security.
  • Proven experience in overseeing the complete sales to delivery lifecycle , right from the pre-sales stage starting with the identification of opportunities and initial scoping through to the final delivery and signoff. 


Required Experience:


  • Demonstrated experience as a presales engineer or sales support professional in an MSP or financial technology firm.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry best practices, platforms, and tools, especially in endpoint security, Microsoft Azure cloud, SIEMs, XDR, and MDR.
  • A minimum of 6 years in IT managed services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related discipline.
  • Ability to commute to the NYC office on a hybrid basis.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.


The role is hybrid and requires travel to the office 2/3 days per week. If this is you then the role can offer a basic salary of up to: $150k + OTE + benefits
