Product Manager –-Core Banking (Madrid)

We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager with deep Core Banking expertise to lead the design, delivery, and ongoing evolution of a modern banking platform. This role sits at the heart of a multi‑country financial services transformation, owning the core systems that power accounts, ledgers, payments, and operational processes.

What you’ll be doing

• Own the vision, roadmap, and configuration of the core banking platform
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery across engineering, operations, finance, and risk
• Define and optimise core banking capabilities including accounts, fees, interest, reconciliation, and settlement
• Drive platform decisions across configure vs build, scalability, resilience, and operational readiness
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure the platform meets internal and external standards
• Support readiness for new products, new markets, and future regulatory requirements
• Oversee platform performance, incident management, and continuous improvement once live

What you’ll bring

• Strong experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in Core Banking
• Hands‑on exposure to platforms such as Mambu, Thought Machine, iGCB, Temenos, or similar
• Background in delivering complex financial services or banking technology programmes
• Solid understanding of payments, ledgers, reconciliation, and financial operations
• Ability to work with engineering teams while also influencing senior stakeholders
• Comfortable leading delivery in a fast‑moving, multi‑country environment
