Head of Financial Systems

A senior technology leader is needed to own and modernize the full suite of financial systems that power core Finance operations. This role ensures the stability, security, and effectiveness of platforms supporting Order‑to‑Cash, Procurement, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Treasury, Tax, and Financial Reporting across a global enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and ongoing support of enterprise financial systems
• Oversee the transition off legacy platforms within defined TSA timelines
• Manage global teams responsible for system operations, enhancements, and issue resolution
• Partner with Finance, Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Infrastructure to ensure secure, compliant, and resilient platforms
• Introduce AI‑driven efficiencies and self‑service capabilities
• Establish governance, quality assurance, and testing frameworks
• Manage budgets, vendors, and strategic roadmaps across the enterprise

What You Bring

• 15+ years of experience in financial systems technology leadership
• Proven success building and operating financial platforms in large global organizations
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex risk and technical topics
• Experience leading globally dispersed teams and developing talent
• Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving abilities in high‑pressure environments

This role requires X3 days per week onsite in Fairfax, VA office. The position will pay from $180-250k per annum + bonus + benefits
