Trader - French Desk (Madrid)

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure clients are treated fairly, promptly, and in line with the company's Code of Conduct, policies, and regulatory expectations.
• Liaise promptly with internal and external stakeholders to manage clients' margin positions according to company policy.
• Collaborate closely with risk and compliance teams to maintain accurate and up-to-date client data.
• Place trades with appropriate counter-parties where applicable.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on FXDB.

Experience Required:

• Native French speaker.
• Proven experience working within a regulated investment firm.
• Demonstrated track record with French clients.
• Proven experience operating at a senior level within a commercial environment.
• Strong knowledge of markets.
• In-depth understanding of the regulatory environment for FX firms.
• Clear understanding of risk management and compliance within a regulated environment.
• Extensive knowledge of FX.
• Minimum of 5 years working in the financial industry.

The position is a hybrid vacancy and will require you to be in the office 2/3 days per week. The position will offer you a basic salary up to €50k per annum + benefits
