We are looking for a FX Sales Account Manager (Derivatives/Options Sales) with a passion for sales and an innate ability to build strong client relationships to join our growing Sales team in Amsterdam. As a member of the Sales team, a FX Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing sales relationships with existing client accounts as well as prospecting new clients and accounts. The role serves as the interface between Clients and the Dealing team and works closely with Compliance and Risk to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

What You Will Do


Sales Related Activities:


  • Actively involved in all aspects of the 360 sales cycle
  • Prospecting & lead generation (sourcing & pitching)
  • Planning sales calls, meetings, post-call follow-ups
  • Presentations & documentation
  • Owning/implementing sales
  • Post-sales follow-up, repeat sales & upselling
  • Working effectively and collaboratively with Financial Crime and Regulatory Compliance teams to complete the client onboarding process in line with company and regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring adequate knowledge of clients (KYC) to deliver appropriate and suitable products and services
  • Engaging with clients with integrity, ensuring high service standards and adherence to company policies



Experience Required:


  • 2-5 years of experience in new business sales, preferably in the financial realm
  • Educational background: ideally Economics or Finance. A Master's is an add-on
  • Proven track record; top performers in previous roles
  • Experience working within a regulated financial services firm is highly desirable
  • Ability to clearly articulate a full understanding of end-to-end sales processes
  • Ability to demonstrate strong sales techniques (Persuasive, Negotiation & Closing skills)
  • Good knowledge of FX products



The role is a hybrid position and requires the right person to be in the Amsterdam office 2/3 days per week. They will pay up to €50k basic + 10% commission on sales + benefits. If you would like to be considered then please send through your CV immediately.
