The Role


Join our vibrant team at Anderson Air as an Accounts Payable Clerk and become an integral part of our family-owned business's continued success story! With our rapid growth, including the recent addition of 5 aircraft and 1 helicopter to our fleet, your contributions will be pivotal in supporting vendor payment processing to meet operational and reporting deadlines. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for a range of accounts payable functions to ensure accuracy and exceptional service to our clients.


This is an on-site position in our Richmond office, where you'll be the vital link between our vendors, staff, and financial processes, ensuring smooth operations and timely payments. Responsibilities


Accounts Payable

  • Liaise with vendors and staff to collect invoices
  • Ensure proper verification and approval of invoices
  • Code and enter invoices to the accounting system
  • Complete vendor payments and employee expense reimbursements in a timely manner
  • Reconcile credit card accounts and bank accounts


General Accounting

  • Perform various tasks including filing, scanning, copying and other tasks as assigned
  • Prepare monthly job costing for the trips
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties


Who You Are


  • 1+ years of accounting experience in an A/P role preferred
  • Accounting diploma or certificate
  • Motivation and desire for continuous improvement and growth
  • Proven attention to accuracy with a strong attention to details
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of Sage 50 or Simply Accounting preferred
  • Eligible status to work in Canada

Salary range $50,000 - $55,000
