Salary Range - 90K-135K depending on experience

Overview:

• This is a hands-on developer role, not just an AI or prompt-engineering position.
• You’d be building and maintaining the front-end and back-end platforms that AI features live in, and then layering AI capabilities on top of that.
• That means real application work - APIs, services, workflows, UI, data handling - alongside AI orchestration. 
• On a typical day, you might be building or improving a frontend experience, wiring up backend services, designing an AI-powered workflow, or debugging why a model or automation behaved the way it did. Much of the work is figuring out how to integrate AI cleanly into existing systems, handle failure cases, and make sure things scale and run reliably without constant supervision.
• We’re looking for someone who thinks in systems, is comfortable owning features end-to-end, and has experience moving beyond demos into production. Experience with embeddings, RAG, async workflows, background jobs, and API integrations is a big plus.
• JavaScript/TypeScript and Python experience matter here, since you’ll be working across the stack.

Key areas needed to be successful in the role are:

• 2–5+ years of meaningful hands-on work with AI systems, with at least some of that experience involving production-level applications (not just experimentation or demos).
• System Design, Prompting, Vector/RAG, Automation, Agents, and javascript
• You’ve built and shipped scalable AI systems and worked collaboratively as part of a team

Background Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT preferred.
• Must have production-level experience building scalable AI systems and a proven history of working collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ideally, 2 years' of real-world experience with CURRENT company
• Experience building agents, automations, or workflows that can decide what to do next.
• You have worked with embeddings, Vector/ RAG, or conversational memory beyond a demo.
• You have built automations that run unattended and recover from failure.
• Ideally you have experience with Python, Javascript/Typescript, SQL, Bash, Docker
• Experience with multi-step prompts, controlling or mapping various outputs, understand context windows, token limits, truncation risks, and can debug why a model failed, not just retry it.
• You understand api orchestration, webhooks, async workflows, cron / background jobs and event-driven systems.
