Maintenance Technician

McElhattan, PA

12-Hour Night Shift: 7 PM – 7:00 AM

Pay: $21-26 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential


The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operations at their facility in McElhattan, PA. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and adjusting mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production.


Key Responsibilities-Maintenance Technician


  • Follow all safety rules and use required safety equipment at all times
  • Adhere to GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations
  • Repair and maintain mechanical components across all equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues and implement corrective actions
  • Operate equipment to verify repairs and ensure proper functionality
  • Assist with changeovers and equipment setups as directed
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and report findings to leadership
  • Recommend improvements to preventive maintenance procedures and schedules
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Share knowledge with team members and assist with training efforts
  • Attend company-provided training sessions as applicable
  • Accurately complete and submit all required documentation
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Education & Experience Requirements-Maintenance Technician


  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Minimum three years of industrial experience or equivalent (required)
  • Technical or vocational training in mechanics (preferred)
  • Advanced mechanical knowledge
  • Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Understanding of product and quality specifications, efficiency, scrap, and production goals
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools
  • Ability to use measuring tools including micrometers and vernier calipers
  • Ability to operate production equipment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
