Position Expectations:
- This is a newly created position and a key hire offering a growth path to Partner within two years!
- Review of business & individual income tax returns
- Preparation of high level federal & state business & individual income tax returns
- Manage client relationships
- Mentoring and technical training of associate and senior staff members
- Participate in the management team - sharing ideas and supporting the long-term strategic plan
- Business development and firm promotion
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A HYBRID WORK ENVIRONMENT. TWO OR THREE DAYS IN OFFICE. NOT FULLY REMOTE
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (advanced degree a plus)
- CPA required
- 10+ years of public accounting tax compliance
- At least 3-5+ years of supervisory experience
- Understanding of tax codes & regulations
- Exceptional communication abilities & interpersonal attributes
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Proficiency with tax return technical reviews
- Ability to set & manage priorities and deadlines
- Maintains a positive attitude and constructive business relationships
