Our client is seeking a visionary Senior Learning Experience Designer who can bring polished execution and innovative ideas to help scale their partner education programs. The role can be based in New York, Austin, Chicago and San Franscisco.
What You'll Do
Craft Engaging Learning Journeys
Develop comprehensive learning paths that elevate our client's partners' sales and technical skills, ensuring they're equipped to succeed in the fast-paced world of enterprise generative AI.
Design Dynamic Learning Experiences
Create diverse learning materials—from written and video content to interactive modules and job aids—tailored for self-service, live, and virtual instructor-led training.
Collaborate Across Teams
Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance and expand the company's existing educational offerings, ensuring they meet the unique needs of their technical and sales partners.
Identify and Address Gaps
Continuously assess our client’s learning materials to identify improvement opportunities and develop innovative solutions to fill those gaps.
Empathize and Advocate
Understand the challenges our partners face and champion new, exciting opportunities to support their growth through education.
Leverage Research-Informed Strategies
Apply the latest instructional design methodologies to create learning experiences that are engaging, effective, and data-driven.
Foster a Culture of Assessment
Build robust feedback and assessment systems to inform and refine our clients learning programs.
Build Strong Relationships
Cultivate strong connections with stakeholders and program managers to ensure alignment and success.
What You'll Need
Expertise and Craftsmanship
You're a seasoned designer with a proven track record of creating meaningful, concise, and effective learning experiences for external audiences.
Experience in External Enablement
8+ years of experience developing and delivering on-demand, virtual instructor-led training (VILT), and instructor-led training (ILT) learning solutions, including:
· Scripts and self-serve resources
· E-learning solutions using text, graphics, animation, audio, video, and interactive facilitated learning
· Partner or customer learning in enterprise software
· Backwards design methodology
· Social and gamified learning approaches
· Assessment design
Generative AI Proficiency
Comfortable driving learning outcomes for generative AI, with keen interest in AI tooling and solutions.
Relationship Builder
Confident and adept at building strong relationships with stakeholders and program managers.
Instructional and UX Design
Well-versed in instructional design methodologies and UX design principles, ensuring products are both polished and user-friendly.
Tool Proficiency
Experience with common design, authoring, voice-over, and video creation tools.
Iterative Mindset
Comfortable with experimentation, iteration, and fast-paced environments, always striving for continuous improvement.
Self-Awareness and Growth
Prioritize self-awareness, feedback, and personal growth while leading the way in process and project organization.
Curiosity and Passion
Naturally curious with a love for learning new things, bringing fresh perspectives to every project.
Additional Requirements
· Travel: 15% domestic and international travel may be required
· Portfolio: Work sample or portfolio required for application
