Role Overview:

The Marketing Operations Manager will lead the implementation of AI-driven marketing systems, automation workflows, and day-to-day marketing execution across our e-commerce and marketplace channels.


This role sits at the intersection of:

It is an execution-focused, systems-driven role centered on building scalable marketing infrastructure.


Core Responsibilities:


1) Marketing Systems & Automation


Implement and manage marketing automation tools


Build automated workflows for:

  • Email campaigns
  • SMS sequences
  • Customer onboarding
  • Review and retention flows


Integrate and optimize platforms such as:

  • Shopify
  • Walmart
  • Amazon
  • Ebay
  • Target
  • CRM and email systems


Create dashboards to track campaign performance


Maintain and optimize the marketing tech stack


Goal: Reduce manual work and build scalable, automated marketing systems.


2) AI-Powered Marketing Execution


Implement AI tools to accelerate:

  • Content creation
  • Ad copy generation
  • Email campaigns
  • Social media content
  • Product descriptions
  • Build prompt libraries and structured content workflows
  • Train internal team members on AI tools


Use AI to:

  • Analyze performance data
  • Identify optimization opportunities
  • Generate actionable marketing insights


Goal: Increase output, speed, and efficiency using AI-driven processes.


3) Campaign Management & Marketing Oversight


Coordinate execution of:

  • Email campaigns
  • Product launches
  • Promotional calendars
  • Amazon and DTC campaigns


Manage marketing timelines and deliverables


Coordinate with:

  • Creative teams
  • Agencies
  • Freelancers
  • Internal stakeholders


Ensure campaigns launch on time and meet performance targets

Goal: Keep all marketing initiatives organized, on schedule, and performance-driven.


4) Performance Tracking & Optimization


Monitor key marketing KPIs:

  • Conversion rates
  • Customer acquisition cost (CAC)
  • Return on ad spend (ROAS)
  • Email and SMS performance
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards


Identify opportunities for:

  • Funnel improvements
  • Automation
  • Campaign optimization
  • Recommend data-driven improvements


Goal: Improve marketing efficiency, scalability, and ROI.


5) Process Development & SOP Creation


Document marketing workflows


Create SOPs for:

  • Campaign launches
  • Email sequences
  • Content production
  • Product promotions


Standardize repeatable marketing processes


Ensure consistency across channels


Goal: Build scalable, repeatable marketing systems that support long-term growth.
