Licensed Architect

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Licensed Architect at the early stage of their career. This role is a great opportunity for a newly licensed architect to build a strong foundation, gain hands on experience across all phases of design and construction, and work on real projects in a fast paced NYC environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with design development, construction documents, and permit drawings
• Prepare and revise drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
• Coordinate with senior architects, consultants, and project teams
• Support filing and approvals with the New York City Department of Buildings
• Conduct site visits and assist with field measurements and documentation
• Ensure plans comply with NYC building codes and zoning regulations
• Help manage project timelines, documentation, and client communication

Qualifications:

• Licensed Architect in New York State (or recently licensed)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
• Familiarity with NYC building codes and permitting process
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit (Adobe Suite a plus)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred:

• Internship or prior experience in a NYC-based firm
• Exposure to residential or commercial projects
• Basic understanding of construction administration
