Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the construction of new and renovation of existing facilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects, specifically within the healthcare sector, and possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with nursing home construction is essential.
Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Management: Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and resources. Oversee all phases of the construction process from pre-construction planning to project closeout.

Budget Control: Manage project budgets effectively, track expenses, and ensure projects are completed within budget. Prepare and submit regular budget reports.

Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, and ensure projects are completed on time. Proactively identify and mitigate potential schedule delays.

Contract Administration: Manage contracts with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions.

Subcontractor Management: Select, manage, and evaluate subcontractors. Coordinate their work to ensure seamless project execution.

Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that all work meets project specifications and industry standards.

Safety Management: Enforce all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on the project site.

Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing project updates and addressing any concerns. Build strong client relationships.

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.

Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve project challenges and issues.

Reporting: Prepare and submit regular project reports to management, including progress updates, budget reports, and risk assessments.

Travel: Travel extensively (weekly, Monday-Friday) to project sites as required.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Experience as a Construction Project Manager, with a demonstrable focus on healthcare construction, specifically nursing homes or assisted living facilities
- Deep understanding of the specific regulatory requirements, building codes, and operational needs related to nursing home construction
- Must be willing and able to travel outside the state weekly
- Proficiency in project management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to identify and resolve project challenges effectively
