Our client is seeking an energetic, relationship-focused Fundraiser to work directly under senior leadership and play a key role in managing donor relationships, fundraising campaigns, and special events.

This position is ideal for a people person who enjoys building meaningful connections with donors, overseeing fundraising initiatives from start to finish, and ensuring campaigns are executed successfully. The role will focus primarily on cultivating and stewarding existing donor relationships, including VIP and major donors, while also identifying opportunities to expand support.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing donors, including major and VIP donors.
  • Work closely with organizational leadership to execute fundraising strategies and initiatives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee fundraising campaigns from conception through completion.
  • Assist with the technical and operational aspects of fundraising campaigns, including tracking, reporting, and donor communications.
  • Coordinate fundraising events and ensure successful execution.
  • Attend donor meetings, events, and community functions as needed.
  • Maintain regular communication with donors to foster long-term engagement and support.
  • Identify opportunities to upgrade donor giving levels and increase donor participation.
  • Conduct some outreach and prospecting to potential donors, though the primary focus is relationship management and stewardship.
  • Ensure all fundraising activities are organized, professional, and aligned with organizational goals.


Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in fundraising, donor relations, business development, sales, account management, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with high-net-worth individuals, VIP donors, and community leaders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with strong follow-through and accountability.
  • Experience coordinating events and managing fundraising initiatives is a plus.
  • Proficiency with fundraising databases, CRM systems, and general office technology is preferred.
  • Professional, personable, and able to represent the organization with confidence and integrity.
