Salary: $75,000- $95,000 - Competitive, commensurate with experience

The Assurance Services Senior Accountant will lead key segments of audit, review, and compilation engagements, mentoring junior staff and building strong client relationships in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. This role offers an opportunity to take on significant responsibility, contribute to client success, and progress toward leadership, requiring strong GAAP knowledge and technical skills, with no prior industry experience needed.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and perform audit, review, and compilation engagements for privately held companies.
Supervise and mentor staff accountants, reviewing work and providing on-the-job training.
Perform agreed-upon procedures and support special projects, such as due diligence and acquisitions.
Analyze and evaluate internal controls by reviewing accounting processes and systems.
Assist in preparing GAAP-compliant financial statements.
Build strong client relationships through excellent communication and service.
Travel to client sites as needed for fieldwork and relationship-building.
Qualifications: 3–5+ years of public accounting audit experience (required).
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA license.
Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and assurance standards.
Long-term care/skilled nursing audit experience is a plus but not required.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and technical skills.
Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Proficiency in standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
New Jersey residency required.
