Our client a law firm is seeking a highly motivated and talented Associate Attorney to join their team in Lawrence, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or an attorney with up to 3 years of experience to develop their legal skills and gain valuable experience in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of legal matters
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, briefs, and memoranda
• Assist senior attorneys with case preparation, including document review and organization
• Attend meetings, hearings, depositions, and trials as needed
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and records

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• 0-3 years of relevant legal experience (entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply)
• Strong academic record and excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in legal research databases and software applications
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to providing outstanding client service and upholding ethical standards
• Admission to the New York State Bar
