Our client is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join their team at an electrical supply company. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong customer relationships, and has a solid understanding of electrical products or industrial distribution. The Inside Sales Representative will handle inbound sales, provide product support, and collaborate with our operations team to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries from contractors, builders, and industrial clients.
- Provide accurate product information, quotes, and recommendations based on customer needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to drive sales growth.
- Enter and process orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
- Collaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to confirm product availability and delivery schedules.
- Assist with pricing, promotions, and special orders as needed.
- Meet or exceed sales goals and contribute to team performance.
- Maintain knowledge of electrical supply products, industry trends, and vendor offerings.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in inside sales, wholesale distribution, or electrical supply.
- Strong knowledge of electrical products and applications (preferred but not required—training provided).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with order entry systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
