Southeast Regional Fundraising Director

Location: Southeast U.S. — Candidate must currently reside in the Southeast region

Schedule: Full-Time

Compensation: $125K–$150K base + bonus structure

Position Overview

A well-established nonprofit organization is seeking an experienced Regional Fundraising Director to grow philanthropic support throughout the Southeast. This is a highly relationship-driven role focused on major gifts, donor cultivation, new donor acquisition, and building strong community relationships.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors and high-net-worth individuals
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of new donor prospects
• Develop relationships with community leaders and key referral sources
• Conduct regular face-to-face donor and prospect meetings
• Secure major gifts, sponsorships, and long-term commitments
• Grow giving from existing donors while developing new relationships
• Maintain consistent donor follow-up and track fundraising activity
• Attend donor meetings, community events, and fundraising initiatives throughout the Southeast

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful fundraising, major gifts, development, sales, or comparable relationship-management experience
• Proven ability to cultivate relationships and secure significant financial commitments
• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals strongly preferred
• Existing relationships or familiarity with the South Florida and Southeast Jewish philanthropic communities is a strong plus
• Strong networking, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working toward fundraising goals
• Ability to travel throughout the Southeast and attend occasional evening/weekend events
