Our Client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager with a strong background in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Assisted Living Facility (ALF) accounting. This leadership role will oversee a team of AP Leads managing payables for multiple facilities, improve AP processes, ensure compliance, and safeguard against fraud. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in cash management and process optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor AP Leads responsible for handling payables across multiple SNF and ALF facilities.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate and enhance AP workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Fraud Detection & Compliance: Implement controls to prevent fraud and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Cash Management: Monitor cash flow, manage payment schedules, and optimize liquidity for operational needs.
• Vendor Relations: Maintain strong relationships with vendors and resolve payment issues promptly.
• Reporting: Prepare AP reports and metrics for senior management review.
• Technology & Systems: Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline AP processes and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of AP experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Assisted Living Facility (ALF) experience required.
• Strong understanding of AP processes, internal controls, and fraud prevention.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
