Director of Intake & Enrollment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all Intake & Enrollment operations across all lines of business.
  • Supervise Enrollment Agents, Intake & Enrollment Specialists, Disenrollment Specialists, Member Retention staff, Team Leads, and Regional Supervisors.
  • Drive membership growth through enrollment, retention, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations and stakeholders.
  • Ensure individuals and families receive education and guidance regarding available services and programs.
  • Monitor enrollment pipelines, member retention, and disenrollment processes.
  • Track and report enrollment activity, outreach efforts, and performance metrics.
  • Oversee community outreach events and staff engagement throughout the service area.
  • Ensure compliance with company, state, and federal regulations, including CMS and DOH guidelines.
  • Manage escalated enrollment, retention, and member service issues.
  • Collaborate with state and federal agencies to resolve pending approvals and enrollment matters.
  • Assist individuals and families with Medicare and Medicaid enrollment processes.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and high performance across the department.



Qualifications:

  • Experience managing intake, enrollment, outreach, retention, or related healthcare/community services teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid enrollment processes.
  • Familiarity with CMS and Department of Health (DOH) regulations and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of social services and community-based programs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, reporting, and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related software.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and community stakeholders.
