The Benefits Enrollment Coordinator directly supports the Enrollment team and process, while also overseeing all enrollment success, including but not limited to directing enrollment operations and maintaining client & broker communication.


The candidate would be a power organizer, great with technology and brilliant at working with plan administrators and clients to gather employee census & rates/contributions, and all benefit plan data to build out in our Ben Admin portal Employee Navigator. Coordinators MUST be organized, responsible individuals - this is the core of the entire setup and enrollment.


Responsibilities:


  • Aligning efforts with the team and benefits counselors, and discussing the enrollment processes.
  • Communicating with the plan administrator(s) to set dates and times for benefits counseling sessions.
  • Work with the client to arrange enrollment schedule, and work with our enrollment support team to ensure clients and their HR have the information needed for the employees to schedule counseling sessions.
  • Coordinating benefit administration portal access for the benefits counselor (offline/online).
  • Gathering employee census information, benefit eligibility rules, cost contributions, client payroll rules etc.
  • Building the Employee Navigator portal/database with all relevant info (core benefits, flex, voluntary, contributions, etc).
  • Creating the Enrollment Guide to assist benefits counselor during enrollment sessions (including the enrollment schedule, what products are offered, core offerings, dress code, paperwork to collect, or anything else the coordinator feels would help the benefits counselor conduct a smooth enrollment session).
  • Setup and participating in the group training/meeting.
  • Monitoring enrollment from start to close.
  • Arranging logistics for enrolling new employees and/or stragglers.
  • Work closely with the data team to prepare and deliver post enrollment reporting to each account.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners to drive growth.
  • Offer general assistance to clients through continuous contact to ensure quality of consumer experience.
  • Proactively resolve challenges and drive solutions in order to improve enrollment results.
  • Collect, analyze, and report enrollment results and identify trends to drive growth and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with integrating partners to ensure smooth integration, feeds and automation into our platforms.
  • Utilize innovative thinking and take initiative to enhance the consumer & enrollment experience.


Qualifications:


  • Experience in building out Employee Navigator is required. Knowledge of, or experience in other platforms such as, Ease, Selerix, and Harmony is a plus, but not required;
  • Experience in the Employee Benefits Industry;
  • Superior Microsoft Office Skills, specifically Excel;
  • Solid communication skills – both written and oral;
  • Proven ability to think strategically and proactively;
  • Solid problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to partner with a close team and develop strong business relationships;
  • Works well in a high-volume environment;
  • Takes initiative/Results oriented;
  • Must have, or willing to obtain Life and Health License;
  • Solid organizational skills; and manage multiple priorities and deadlines as the Coordinator;
  • Strong Experience with Customer Service is preferred.
