The Director of Billing oversees all billing and revenue cycle operations for a Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA), ensuring accurate claims submission, timely reimbursement, regulatory compliance, and financial performance. This leadership role manages Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, and commercial payer billing while collaborating closely with clinical, intake, authorization, and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise billing staff and revenue cycle operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely claim submission, payment posting, and accounts receivable management.
• Monitor denials, reimbursement trends, aging reports, and revenue performance metrics.
• Maintain compliance with NYSDOH, CMS, Medicare, Medicaid, and payer-specific regulations.
• Partner with clinical and authorization teams to resolve documentation and billing issues.
• Prepare for audits, surveys, and regulatory reviews while driving continuous process improvement.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of healthcare billing experience, including at least 3 years in CHHA or home health billing.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, OASIS, and NYS home health regulations.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
