Regional Property Manager
Location: St. Louis, MO (travel required)
Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year + performance incentives
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of properties across multiple markets. This role is based in St. Louis, Missouri, and requires regular travel to assigned sites to provide operational leadership, ensure financial performance, and support on-site property teams.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a strategic thinker, and a hands-on leader who excels in property operations, budgeting, staff development, and resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operational and financial performance of a multi-site property portfolio.
- Conduct regular property visits across the region to evaluate performance and provide coaching.
- Develop, monitor, and manage annual operating budgets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, fair housing laws, and safety standards.
- Partner with leasing, maintenance, and community management teams to optimize occupancy, revenue, and resident experience.
- Analyze weekly/monthly reports, identify trends, and implement action plans for improvement.
- Recruit, train, and mentor on-site staff to build high-performing teams.
- Oversee capital improvement projects and vendor relationships.
- Handle escalated resident issues professionally and efficiently.
- Support acquisition due diligence, onboarding of new properties, and transitions when needed.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of multi-site property regional management experience.
- Strong knowledge of property operations, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Experience with property management software (RealPage, Yardi, AppFolio, etc.).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to travel regularly within the region (up to 50–70%).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- CAM, CAPS, ARM, or similar certifications a plus.
