Commercial Mortgage Processor / Junior Underwriter

Williamsburg, Brooklyn (In-Office)

Up to $100K (based on experience)

A growing commercial mortgage brokerage in Williamsburg is seeking a strong Processor / Underwriter hybrid to support deal flow from application through closing.

This is not an entry-level admin role. We’re looking for someone who understands commercial real estate financing and can think through a file — not just push paper.

Responsibilities:

• Review and organize loan applications and supporting documentation
• Analyze financial statements, rent rolls, tax returns, and credit reports
• Assist in structuring deals and preparing lender packages
• Communicate directly with borrowers, lenders, and third parties
• Track files through underwriting, conditions, and closing
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all submissions

Qualifications:

• Experience in commercial mortgage processing and/or underwriting
• Strong understanding of CRE loan products (bridge, permanent, construction preferred)
• Ability to analyze financials and identify red flags
• Highly organized with strong follow-up skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced brokerage environment

Compensation:

• Up to $100K base (depending on experience)
• Opportunity to grow within an active, high-volume brokerage
