As we embark on our journey to build a cutting-edge SaaS, we are looking for a visionary lead developer and CTO to join our core team.
Job Description
As the company’s Lead Developer and CTO, you will be responsible first and foremost with hands-on development, troubleshooting, and querying to improve our data quality, user experience, and new functionality. Secondarily, you will be the Chief Technology Officer responsible for leading a team of two other developers and a DevOps contractor, developing the roadmap with the CEO, and building out a product with a scalable infrastructure.
This role is the perfect opportunity for someone that thrives in a very fast-paced environment, loves challenging themselves, and is not afraid to get hands-on with code on a daily basis while leading a team. Eventually, the role will transition into a more hands-off, management role with traditional CTO responsibilities.
Responsibilities
· Lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative identity resolution products.
· Build and manage a high-performing development team, including recruiting, training, and mentoring top-tier engineers, and developers.
· Ensure the creation of robust, scalable, and secure systems that adhere to industry standards and best practices.
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-centric product development.
· Engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders to gather feedback and refine development strategy.
· Stay updated on new trends and best practices in the sales and marketing technology landscape.
· Contribute to securing funding by demonstrating the technical viability and potential of products to investors and venture capitalists.
Qualifications
· Senior software engineer with 5+ years of experience
· 5+ years of experience in ReactJS, NodeJS, and TypeScript
· Experience acting as a team lead
· Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments
· Entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organization and leadership skills.
· Familiarity with the challenges of handling sensitive data and compliance with data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA).
