Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to design and develop electrical test equipment based on customer specifications. This role focuses on both standard and custom product development, working cross-functionally to deliver cost-effective, reliable solutions while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical load systems for testing backup power systems
• Interpret customer specifications, drawings, and one-line diagrams
• Support Sales with technical proposals, pricing, and customer interactions
• Manage engineering projects, including new product development
• Deliver complete and accurate design packages to the drafting team
• Collaborate with drafting to produce schematics, BOMs, assemblies, and layouts
• Develop test procedures and technical manuals
• Support Field Service with installation and troubleshooting
• Maintain documentation through engineering change processes
• Prepare engineering submittals for UL and CSA approvals
• Coordinate third-party product certification and testing
• Serve as liaison with inspectors and certification agencies

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Excellent written and presentation abilities
• Knowledge of UL 508A Industrial Control Standards and National Electric Code (NEC)

Education & Experience

🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)

• 5–7 years of electrical/electronic engineering design experience
• Project management experience
• Hands-on troubleshooting expertise
• AutoCAD experience required
