ELECTRICIAN (Manufacturing)

Salary to commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, motors, and industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues on production machinery, automation systems, and facility infrastructure.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to reduce machine downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Install and maintain PLCs, sensors, relays, VFDs, and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards.
• Assist in machine upgrades, system improvements, and new equipment installations.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system changes.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of 480V three‑phase systems, controls, and motors.
• Experience working with PLCs (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, etc.) is a strong plus.
• Ability to diagnose electrical issues using multimeters, scopes, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in industrial plant conditions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with robotics, automation, or CNC machinery.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Mechanical aptitude to assist with electromechanical repairs.
