SUMMARY:

Utility Bagger is responsible for operating the bagging functions of Prill. This person will also help in all aspects of operations with miscellaneous duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Bag animal feeds into 50 lb. bags or 2,000 lb. super sacks.
• Operate forklift.
• Follow safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Upon completion of confined space training, participate in confined space clean-outs.
• May be required to load outgoing trucks using a forklift.
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping of bagging/supersack areas so that all walls, ceilings, doors, floors and work surfaces are clean and free of debris. Also, ensure that all tools are in good working order and stored properly.
• Fill out material tags properly, put finished goods neatly into storage, and ensure lot codes on bags are clear and visible.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be trainable and an energetic person.
• Any industrial handling/processing experience is a plus.
• Hazmat certification is welcomed but not a requirement.
• Previous chemical plant experience is a bonus.
• Previous tow motor experience a plus.
• Must be able to lift and stack 50 lbs. bags for prolonged periods.
