Position Summary:

The Recruitment Research Manager will lead and mentor a team of 6-10 highly skilled consultants specializing in name generation for passive recruitment. This individual will be responsible for overseeing multiple client projects, ensuring quality and process adherence, and driving strategic initiatives to meet the team's goals. The ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach to support the team, actively contributing to problem-solving and execution when needed. This role extends beyond traditional management responsibilities, requiring a balance of leadership, collaboration, and direct involvement in day-to-day tasks to ensure project success. The role should maintain an 80/20 split between recruitment research responsibilities and leadership responsibility.


Key Responsibilities & Goals:


Team Leadership & Culture:


  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6-10 research consultants, ensuring they meet and exceed project goals.
  • Build a high-performance culture centered on collaboration, strategic thinking, and growth.
  • Provide ongoing training and mentorship, empowering the team to become experts in passive talent sourcing and research.
  • Set clear expectations, hold the team accountable, and celebrate wins to keep motivation high.

Project & Client Management:


  • Oversee the successful delivery of a diverse range of client projects, ensuring on-time, within-scope, and high-quality results.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, and translating them into actionable plans for the team.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline goals, strategies, and execution timelines, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Hold team members accountable for meeting deadlines, exceeding client requirements, and maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Strategic Leadership & Performance:


  • Guide the team in implementing best-in-class sourcing techniques (LinkedIn, HireEZ, Boolean searches, etc.) to identify top-tier candidates.
  • Establish standardized processes to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency in all research efforts.
  • Monitor key team performance metrics (Self and team utilization goals, confirmed accuracy conversion goals) while continuously optimizing results.
  • Inspire a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement to drive measurable hiring success for our clients.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management, team leadership, and candidate sourcing/research, particularly for recruitment purposes.
  • Expertise in using online tools like LinkedIn, HireEZ, Apollo, and Boolean search strings for passive candidate recruitment.
  • Strong client-facing experience with the ability to consult, manage expectations, and develop long-term client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, train, and develop teams to meet strategic goals, ensuring high performance and adherence to quality standards.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A results-driven mindset, capable of motivating others to achieve ambitious goals while maintaining accuracy and quality in deliverables.
  • Prior experience in recruitment or sourcing in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Familiarity with using data tracking tools for performance analysis and project management.
