
Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing/Machines
3rd shift - 7PM to 5AM - FOUR 10-hour nights
$28 - $34+ per hour based on experience

Responsibilities:
- Maintains and repairs electronic equipment, and industrial controls following blueprints and manufacturers' specifications and using hand tools and test instruments.
- Make or modify fixtures, tooling or equipment according to close tolerances, simple blueprints or engineering sketches. When necessary, set up, operate and adjust production equipment to process materials for the assembly of new or existing products or processes.
- Tests faulty equipment and applies knowledge of functional operations and electronic units and systems to diagnosis cause of malfunction.
- Converses with equipment operators to troubleshoot problems with equipment before breakdown and to determine if breakdown is due to human error or mechanical problem.
- Replaces defective components and wiring and adjusts mechanical parts using the appropriate hand tools.
- Aligns, adjusts and calibrates equipment according to specifications.
- Operates lifts, tow motors, jacks, hoists as needed.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Vocational/Technical in automation and manufacturing equipment repair and maintenance (preferred)
- 5+ years relevant experience with CNC/PLC/Electricity and welding.
- 2-3 years of experience working in a solid metal fabrication / machining environment required.
- Electricity up to 480V required.
