Machine Operator

3rd shift - $19-20/hour

1. Receives work instructions and prepares and operates equipment in accordance with instructions.

2. Monitors the quality of own work being produced and conducts own inspection

3. Documents work as required.

4. Actively seeks out process improvements and communicates appropriately.

5. Performs basic machine set ups and adjustments.

6. Moves materials to appropriate location for pick up to next workstation.

7. Performs daily clean up, maintenance, and 5s work within area of responsibility.

8. Complies with all regulatory, safety, policies, and standards requirements.

9. Performs other duties as requested or assigned.

a. At least 1 year of related machine operating experience.

b. At least 2 years' experience working in a solid metal fabrication / machining environment.

1. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.

2. Must be proficient in using measuring instruments (e.g. micrometers, calipers) to inspect own work in accordance with specifications and requirements\ Set-up experience is desirable.

3. Experience in a lean, continuous improvement environment.

4. Previous experience working in the medical equipment field
