Electrician - Superior Forge & Steel Corporation

Superior Forge & Steel Corporation is seeking an Electrician to join our Maintenance Department. This role focuses on providing electrical and electronic maintenance support for plant facilities and equipment.

Shift: 2nd or 3rd

Compensation: Competitive pay range starting at $26.50/hr (based on experience), $1,000 sign-on bonus, benefit package, 401K, PTO, Paid Relief Days, and production/incentive bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain AC/DC industrial electrical equipment and control systems.
• Manage facility electrical systems, including lighting and power distribution.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
• Mentor less experienced team members and follow company directives.
• Perform various maintenance department duties.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Exposure to seasonal temperature changes in a manufacturing environment.
• Work involves heat, noise, dust, and vibration with consistent physical demands.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required (technical degree/apprenticeship is a plus).
• Experience with industrial electrical systems and controls.
• Strong math, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work any shift; must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
