We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / Programmer who can take ownership of the entire machining process—from programming and setup to final inspection. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys complex machining, problem solving, and optimizing production processes.
You’ll work with advanced CNC equipment and multi-axis machines to produce precision components while maintaining high quality and efficiency.
What You’ll Do
- Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines
- Create and edit CNC programs using G-code or CAM software
- Perform complete machine setups including tooling, offsets, and work-holding
- Conduct first article and in-process inspections
- Optimize machining processes for efficiency and accuracy
- Select proper tooling, speeds, and feeds for various materials
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams
- Maintain setup documentation and process notes
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of CNC machining experience
- Strong programming and setup skills
- Experience with CAM software
- Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
- Experience machining alloy steels, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- Multi-axis machining experience
- Continuous improvement / Lean manufacturing exposure
