Field Service and Support Industrial Equipment
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Field Service Technical Support Specialist will be directly responsible for industrial equipment, equipment installation, troubleshooting equipment, and provide direct support to the engineering department. This individual will be solutions oriented with the ability to work independently in a high pressure, fast paced and innovative environment. Must possess a good driving record and be able to travel both domestic and internationally.
● Receive and perform field service calls, installations, preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
● Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions utilizing standard electrical test equipment and identify corrective
actions.
● Provide active support to the engineering department in various capacities.
● Manage internal technical support calls, offering guidance and problem-solving solutions for equipment
issues.
● Assist with Quality Checks on equipment prior to shipment.
● Ability to create and sustain customer relationships.
● Assist with FAT (Factory Acceptance Test).
● Accurately report daily activities for invoicing and tracking proposes.
● Willingness to travel at least 25 – 50% of the time both domestic and international.
