Grinder (Entry Level)

3rd shift

$1000 sign on bonus once hired perm

Shift: Nights – 10 PM to 10 AM (includes Monday 6 AM–10 AM)

 Monday 6am – 10am 4 hours

 Monday 10pm – 10am 12 hours

 Tuesday 10pm – 10am 12 hours

 Wednesday 10pm – 10am 12 hours

 Possible Friday if production requires

Pay: $16–$18/hour (based on experience) plus $0.75 shift differential + Bonus every 6 months

Summary

Operate grinding machines to process plastic sheets into pellet form for reprocessing. Assist with sorting, staging, and other production floor duties.

Responsibilities

• Separate and sort plastic sheets
• Box, label, and weigh inventory
• Follow grinding schedule and load material into grinder
• Tear down, clean, and maintain grinding machine
• Stage material for upcoming jobs
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Skills & Requirements

• Tow motor driving experience
• Ability to read and write
• Read tape measure and retain information
• Mechanically inclined with basic math skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Use hand tools (hammers, saws, nail gun)
• Previous warehouse experience required
• Team player with clear communication skills
• Forklift certification and computer skills a plus

Education

• High school diploma/GED required

Physical Demands

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs
• Ability to climb steps and catwalk multiple times daily
• Requires use of protective gear and adherence to safety procedures
