Position Summary
Assist with inspection sheets, tests, and observations, and will document required corrective actions for finished products. Also performs some assembly and wiring. As a Level II Tester, the incumbent receives coaching and training from a Lead Tester. Committed to the Shingo/SBS Model principles and applies the tools and concepts.
Duties
• Makes normal unit connections to the test bench.
• Performs a manual and visual unit inspection. Checks if specifications meet customer order, that components comply with drawings, and the exterior unit has no imperfections.
• Runs various operating cycles and tests to confirm the unit meets standards, evaluating parameters and making necessary adjustments.
• Do some rework and notify the cell leader of others that need to be taken care of.
• Suggests inspection sheet modifications.
• Collaborates with engineering and quality systems departments in the elaboration of protocols and inspection sheets.
• Defines problems and works with others to resolve those problems
• Finish Assembly of Units
• Assist in Packing the Units
Experience Required:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years of experience working with electrical, pneumatic, and testing equipment.
Preferred:
• 2-3 years of experience in equipment testing or similar equipment.
• Intermediate knowledge of voltage testing.
• Intermediate knowledge of Pneumatics.
