A well-established, upscale restaurant and inn in Erwinna, PA is seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join its culinary leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated chef who values refined cuisine, consistency, and craftsmanship, and who is looking to grow within a supportive, quality-driven operation.
The Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences, lead the kitchen during service, and help execute seasonal, ingredient-driven menus.
What You’ll Do
- Support and lead daily kitchen operations
- Maintain high standards for food quality, flavor, and presentation
- Assist with menu development and special events
- Train and mentor kitchen team members
- Collaborate closely with front-of-house leadership
- Help foster a positive, professional kitchen culture
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in upscale or fine-dining kitchens
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong culinary fundamentals and passion for seasonal cuisine
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
- Professional, dependable, and team-focused mindset
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
