Title of Position: Kitchen Manager/Head Chef
Job Description: The Kitchen Manager/Head Chef should fully grasp all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs. Additionally, the Kitchen Manager/Head Chef should ensure that all guests feel they are given responsive, gracious, and considerate service always. Our Kitchen Manager/Head Chef must understand, endorse, and support the mission, vision statement and values of the company as well as support and teach the policies and procedures of the organization. It falls on the Kitchen Manager/Head Chef to ensure all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards. A professional Kitchen Manager/Head Chef will also be able to make employment and termination decisions, continually endeavoring to develop staff in all areas of professional development. The Kitchen Manager/Head Chef will often work alongside the hands-on ownership to ensure quality service is continuously maintained by all kitchen staff.
