General Manager - Full-Service Restaurant & Events

Gecko Hospitality is seeking a seasoned and charismatic General Manager to lead our team at our full-service restaurant near Lancaster, PA. Event experience is required to be considered for this position.

About the Role:

As General Manager of our restaurant, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house management, inventory management, labor forecasting, events management, and customer satisfaction. You will lead by example, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration, creativity, and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional leadership and guidance to restaurant staff, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability
• Drive sales growth through effective marketing strategies, menu management, and exceptional customer service
• Manage labor costs, inventory, and supplies to optimize profitability
• Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
• Plan and execute successful events, including weddings, parties, and corporate functions
• Foster strong relationships with local vendors, partners, and the community
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• 4+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a full-service setting including event management
• Proven track record of success in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing high-performing teams
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
• Familiarity with labor laws, inventory management, and point-of-sale systems
• Experience in the kitchen as well as front of house and events
