Position Title: Construction Lending Specialist

Department: Loan Servicing

Report to: Construction Servicing Supervisor

Location: Remote

Position Summary:

The Construction Lending Specialist is responsible for essential functions related to construction loan advances, construction loan disbursements and associated loan file reconciliation and documentation.

Essential Functions:

1. Completes reconciliation of loan availability to the the construction budget, change orders, invoice verification and construction loan draw requests.
2. Creates and reviews standardized construction documents, checklist and budget worksheets that support the construction phase of the commercial loan to ensure the commercial project is executed in accordance with the loan agreement.
3. Maintains direct contact with the borrower and contractor during various stages of the loan life cycle via email and phone.
4. Prepares and reports construction advances to all borrowers, participants and guarantors.
5. Responsible for maintaining commercial loan documentation and due diligence documents associated with each construction draw by ensuring that documents are accurately indexed in the institution's cold storage platform.
