Loan Servicing Manager

Status: Exempt, Full-time

Pay Rate: Commensurate with experience. 

Reports to: SVP CCO/CRO

Locations: Riverside, Encinitas

JOB SUMMARY:

C3bank NA, premier business and commercial real estate bank located in Encinitas, CA with over $750 million in assets seeking Loan Servicing Manager to support continued growth and credit team expansion. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for all aspects of loan servicing, including payment processing and research, customer inquiry, loan draws for bridge, construction, commercial and consumer lines of credit, certain management or Board level reports, and overall tickler system and file maintenance.
  • Review booked loans for accuracy and assist with the internal/external audit requests.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with the borrower, Loan Officer, and Title Company and be able to request and obtain specified and required documents to support draw requests.
  • Ensure collateral position remains in compliance with loan and collateral requirements as identified in loan documentation by completing date downs and obtaining necessary endorsements for draw requests.
  • Point of contact for BDO’s, Customers, Title and Escrow Officers.
  • Monitor and maintain Insurance for loans
  • Manages the processing of Booking and funding of loans, to include the final closing and distribution of funds, preparation of payoff demand statements to include processing of paid loans, and maintenance of loans.
  • May work with internal partners to reconcile GL and other accounts.
  • May interact with outside service providers or government agencies.
  • Review, understand, and adhere to bank Human Resources, Information Technology, Credit, and other related policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of banking, regulatory requirements, lending products, and credit.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or minimum of 5+ years related bank or lending operations experience, with a concentration in loan servicing.
  • 5+ years of loan servicing experience preferred.
  • Baseline knowledge of financial theories and concepts in applicable discipline, accounting, finance, and cash flow familiarity.
  • Working knowledge of various types of loans.
  • Working knowledge of entity structures, organizational documentation, and state filing requirements.
  • Strong analysis, research and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) proficiency.
  • FISERV experience a plus.
  • LaserPro experience a plus.
  • Team player with positive attitude and willing to grow and learn.
