Regional Sales Manager – Southwest U.S. Region


Location: Houston, TX (or surrounding area) | Remote with 50%+ travel

Are you an experienced sales leader looking for a larger platform to make an impact? We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee and develop a sales team across the Southwest US — covering key manufacturing and industrial markets throughout Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Arkansas & Oklahoma. This is a remote leadership role with strong visibility and the ability to shape strategy and growth across the region.

In this role, you’ll lead a team of 5–6 sales professionals, develop strategic growth plans, and work directly with distributors and major end users in sectors such as oil & gas, aerospace, energy, and general machining/manufacturing. Your focus will be on driving revenue, strengthening channel partnerships, and ensuring consistent execution across the territory.

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations to ensure aligned, customer-focused execution.
  • Maintain strong pipeline discipline, sales forecasting accuracy, and profit-focused decision-making.
  • Serve as a role model for the company’s values, emphasizing integrity, curiosity, and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–7+ years of experience in industrial / machining / metal cutting sales strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years managing and developing sales teams.
  • Experience leading remote or regionally dispersed teams.
  • Strong performance coaching and talent development track record.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and data-driven sales management.
  • Willingness to travel at least 50% throughout the Gulf Coast region.
  • Manufacturing industry sales leadership experience required.
