Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth & Account Management
- Prospect and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Manage and expand existing accounts to maximize customer retention and profitability.
- Provide technical recommendations and tailored product solutions to meet customer needs.
- Consistently achieve or surpass established sales goals.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and relationship building.
Market Analysis & Strategy
- Evaluate territory performance and adjust strategies to drive growth.
- Track industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to remain competitive.
- Deliver reports on market conditions, pipeline updates, and sales activity.
End-User Engagement
- Partner directly with end users to understand operational needs and deliver value-driven solutions.
- Conduct on-site evaluations to showcase process improvements and cost savings.
Collaboration & Teamwork
- Coordinate with sales colleagues, customer service, and technical support teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Work with marketing and product development teams to strengthen market presence.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting
- Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Prepare and present reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
Customer Education & Training
- Deliver product demonstrations and training sessions as needed.
- Educate customers on the benefits and applications of the product line.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years in industrial sales, ideally within abrasives, tools, or manufacturing sectors.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and growing accounts.
- Strong technical sales acumen; abrasives knowledge is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently with effective time management.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
