IT Support Specialist (Mid–Senior Level)

We are looking for an IT & Application Support Specialist to support our business partner, a globally distributed technology team. This role combines hands-on IT support with responsibility for key business applications. The position suits someone who is proactive, able to work independently, and comfortable bridging local business operations with global IT functions.


Key Responsibilities

General IT Support

  • Provide onsite deskside support for Windows-based systems, laptops, peripherals, and other hardware in the local office.
  • Assist global employees through the IT service desk (DeskPro), resolving Level 1 and 2 tickets.
  • Administer and support core platforms such as Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Intune) and Google Workspace.
  • Support Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes.
  • Provide technical support for VOIP and telephony systems.


Business Application Support (Secondary Focus)

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for various business applications (e.g., project management, marketing tools).
  • Manage user access, permissions, and system configurations for third-party applications.
  • Handle advanced troubleshooting (L2/L3), escalate to vendors when necessary, and maintain clear documentation.
  • Work closely with business departments to understand needs and improve application usage.


Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace administration.
  • Familiarity with ITSM platforms (e.g., DeskPro, ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a quick learner with new technologies.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • High sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a global team.
  • Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).
