 Group Head of Human Resources 

(Strategy, Transformation & Capability Building) 

Overview 

We are a diversified business group operating across multiple industries and business models. As we enter our next phase of evolution, we are seeking a Group Head of Human Resources to architect and execute the Group’s enterprise-wide people strategy. 

This is a high-impact leadership role requiring both strategic depth and hands-on execution capability. 

The environment is dynamic and evolving. This role requires a builder — someone comfortable driving transformation within real-world constraints, balancing ambition with pragmatism. 

Role Mandate 

The Group Head of HR will: 

  • Creating one clear, unified direction for how the Group manages people — while operating across different companies and business models. 
  • Define the Group HR operating model (governance vs business unit autonomy) 
  • Build succession depth and leadership capability across the portfolio 
  • Elevate performance management and accountability standards 
  • Lead workforce planning and capability development initiatives 
  • Drive cultural alignment while respecting business diversity 
  • Lead the people side of organizational transformation 


This role reports directly to the Group CEO and works closely with senior leadership across the portfolio. 

Environment & Expectations 

This is not a fully standardized multinational environment. 

The successful candidate must be comfortable: 

  • Working within resource and budget constraints 
  • Operating without large centralized HR teams 
  • Building structure where gaps exist 
  • Elevating capability across mixed levels of talent maturity 
  • Driving change in legacy environments with strong historical practices
