Job Summary
The Head of Retail will be responsible for overseeing the operations, performance, and strategic direction of more than 200 retail stores across Thailand. Reporting directly to the Country Manager, this role will drive sales growth, optimize operational efficiency, and ensure a consistent brand experience across all stores. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, a deep understanding of the fashion and footwear industry, and a proven track record of leading large, multi-store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Retail Strategy and Leadership:
- Develop and implement the overall retail strategy to achieve sales targets, profitability, and brand objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of retail managers and store staff to deliver exceptional performance and customer service.
- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across the retail network.
- Store Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of more than 200 stores, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
- Monitor store performance, analyze sales data, and implement action plans to address underperforming stores.
- Optimize store layouts, visual merchandising, and inventory management to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
- Sales and Financial Performance:
- Set and achieve annual sales targets, budgets, and KPIs for the retail network.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Implement pricing strategies, promotions, and campaigns to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Customer Experience:
- Ensure a consistent and exceptional brand experience across all stores, in line with the company’s values and vision.
- Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Drive initiatives to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
- Team Development and Training:
- Recruit, train, and develop retail managers and staff to build a high-performing team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to support professional growth.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment that reflects the company’s culture.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all stores comply with local regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks to protect the company’s assets and reputation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in retail management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multi-store operations.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and operational excellence in the fashion, footwear, or retail industry.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and customer experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in English and Thai (both written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel extensively across Thailand.
