Position Summary

The CMMS System Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This position plays a critical role in the Maintenance operation of the site by maintaining asset data accurately, schedule of preventive maintenance and calibration activities is in place and manage the corrective maintenance program to maximize equipment operability and uptime.

This position works closely with maintenance, engineering, operations, validation and quality teams to support site equipment reliability and compliance.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Managing and Optimizing our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) supporting the system as the site System Administrator.

·        Maintain equipment hierarchy, asset records and master data integrity

·        Manage updates, patches and upgrades to the CMMS System.

·        Provide technical support to CMMS users.

·        Train maintenance and operation personnel on CMMS system use.

·        Troubleshoot system – relates issues with CMMS system supplier and IT as applicable.

·        Generate KPI’s and Maintenance Performance reports.

·        Analize downtime, equipment reliability and PM and Calibration compliance trends.

·        Accountable for maintaining and developing procedures related to the CMMS system.

·        Ensure maintenance documentation is complete and compliant.

·        Identify opportunities to improve maintenance workflows and asset management process.

·        Interface with the planning and execution leaders to meet maintenance objectives

·        Scheduling preventative and demand repair, maintenance, and calibration activities.

·        Communicating with multiple department personnel on daily activities and work priorities.

·        Developing and planning jobs for equipment outages.

·        Consolidating repair, preventative maintenance, and calibration activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.

·        Reviewing backlog maintenance work orders ahead of planned equipment outages.

·        Perform periodic audits to the system to ensure compliance.

·        Support Regulatory and Client audits by providing maintenance records and reports as required.

·        Other duties as required.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

·          Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of maintenance and/or planning experience in a biotech, pharmaceutical, industrial, or military environment.

·          Experience managing CMMS Systems such as Maximo, BMRAM, SAP PM, etc.

·          Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·          Strong organizational skills.

·          Experience in use of IT tools to forecast and monitor key metrics

·          Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and asset life cycle.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

·          Experience in maintenance supervision/planning, reliability engineering, and/or storeroom management.

·          Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of maintenance and/or planning experience in a biotech, pharmaceutical, industrial, or military environment.

·          Good knowledge of BMRAM CMMS system

·          5 years experience with sterile injectables, combo-devices, or biologics.

·          Start-up experience preferred.

·          Project management experience.

·          Knowledgeable in repair techniques for a broad application of equipment.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
