Needl have partnered with a rapidly growing cloud-native software company revolutionising how developers manage and distribute their software packages. They are a fast paced and successful start up, and are looking for top sales talent to join their growing business.


Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. As a Senior AE, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by selling our innovative package management solutions to developer teams across various industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in software sales, and experience selling to developer teams and a strong understanding of the developer tools space is a plus. Previous experience in a startup environment is also highly beneficial.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with the team to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, DevOps teams, and IT decision-makers.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and inbound leads.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of the solutions and address customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform sales strategies and positioning.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, with a track record of success in exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience selling to developer teams and a strong understanding of the developer tools space is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a startup environment is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field is beneficial.


This job could also be suitable for a TAM, Client Solutions Specialist, Solutions Architect, or a technical candidate with client facing experience who would like to be in a target driven environment.
