The firm is experienced in the areas of foreclosure, creditor litigation, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, title curative issues, and general housing-related issues such as foreclosure liens, redemption, homeowner association matters, mobile home curative, and compliance issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Handle multiple files, including complaints, pleadings and hearing preparation and attendance.
  • Provide input to management related to ongoing improvements on NY process.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage and work a caseload of files including attending trials, discovery, hearings and other court appearances as necessary.
  • Draft pleading and motions as needed.


PREFERRED PROFILE:


  • 3 - 5 years of experience as an attorney
  • 2 plus years of Foreclosure experience.
  • Organized and independent worker
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities
  • Licensed in New York is required.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Litigation & Court room: 1 year min
  • Creditor rights: 1 year min.
