RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle multiple files, including complaints, pleadings and hearing preparation and attendance.
- Provide input to management related to ongoing improvements on NY process.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage and work a caseload of files including attending trials, discovery, hearings and other court appearances as necessary.
- Draft pleading and motions as needed.
PREFERRED PROFILE:
- 3 - 5 years of experience as an attorney
- 2 plus years of Foreclosure experience.
- Organized and independent worker
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities
- Licensed in New York is required.
- Strong computer skills
- Litigation & Court room: 1 year min
- Creditor rights: 1 year min.
